Culinary Concerts in Vevey
For this 4th edition, IamBacchus welcomes you to the unique setting of the Grande Salle del Castillo in Vevey. On Sunday, September 7, 2025, enjoy the culinary creations crafted by Philippe Verdan and his team (À la Demi-Lune), paired with exceptional wines from Chardonne and the Lavaux produced by Maison Obrist.
Boogie-Woogie Beethoven features LadyVa, the queen of Boogie-Woogie at the piano. The Swiss star, renowned internationally, will set the stage on fire and promises a toe-tapping, foot stomping, unforgettable experience.
The evening will continue at the restaurant À la Demi-Lune (Chardonne), where you can savor an exclusive VIP menu in the company of the artists and winemakers.

Ladyva is an internationally renowned Swiss pianist and boogie-woogie virtuoso. Discovered as a teenager, she has performed worldwide, from London to Egypt, sharing the stage with Hugh Laurie, Jools Holland and Kool & The Gang. Her video"Quarantine Boogie" has exceeded 200 million views on YouTube
John Axelrod
A conductor with an eclectic repertoire and a charismatic presence, John Axelrod has led renowned orchestras around the world. Trained by Leonard Bernstein and a Harvard graduate, he combines a passion for music, wine, and gastronomy, which he celebrates through IamBacchus and his unique Culinary Concerts.
Philippe Verdan
Originally from Chardonne, Philippe Verdan is the owner of the restaurant À la Demi-Lune. Along with his team, he offers inventive and very Swiss cuisine, but also influenced by his Greek origins. The wine list features wines from local producers of the Lavaux and especially from the Chardonne vineyards.
Salle del Castillo
Located on the Place du Marché in Vevey, the Salle del Castillo combines historic charm with modernity. Opened in 1908 and completely renovated in 2014, it offers a unique setting on the shores of Lake Geneva, ideal for hosting concerts, cultural events, and receptions.
À la Demi-Lune
In the heart of the village of Chardonne, overlooking the lake and mountains, À la Demi-Lune offers bold and flavorful cuisine, made primarily from local and seasonal produce. The restaurant has been awarded a score of 13/20 in multiple editions of the Gault & Millau guide.
Maison Obrist
Maison Obrist 's signature wines embody the excellence of Vaudois expertise.
